1001 Natt - Oslo Bellydance Festival 2008

4Oslo Bellydance Festival is an annual event, organized by Oslo Bellydance Studio, which has been drawing crowds since 2001. We've previously had guest performers/instructors like Semassem (Egypt/Sweden), Kamellia (France), Lulu (Brazil) etc.
This year our featured guest dancer and instructor is Astryd Farah de Michele, direct from Cairo. This wonderful dancer combines the true feeling and understanding of oriental dance of someone who lives and works in Egypt, with the clear and precise pedagogics of a westerner. She combines working in Cairo with frequent travels to her native USA to teach workshops and perform. This is her first visit to Scandinavia, and we are proud to host her. Friday 2nd of May 2008: Gala Show in Oslo Concert Hall. Tickets (NOK 200,-) are sold at
www.oslokonserthus.no or at any Norwegian post office. Please ask for the 1001natt show in lille sal. Tickets sell out fast, so make sure to secure your ticket well in advance.
